Position Summary

Ticket sales agents are an integral part of resort operations, as we are often the first department our guests will visit.

Therefore, ticket sales agents must be courteous, knowledgeable and informative. They serve as the primary greeters,

information providers and customer service representatives. This requires being familiar with all aspects of Brian Head

Resort operations, including but not limited to costs, terrain, instructors, rental products, ski school products and food.

You must also be knowledgeable about current events, local attractions, sites and information about the Town of Brian

Head and the services provided by the town.

Job Qualifications

1. Knowledgeable about resort and all of our daily operations.

2. Have an excellent "customer service presence", welcoming and warm.

3. Ability to work in a fast pace environment.

4. Cash handling experience, ability to be in balance.

5. Computer- literate, which includes familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and different computer programs.

7. Need to be service-oriented, with the experience in positive guest/customer service.

8. Must learn our point of sale software quickly and efficiently.

9. Be task oriented but be able to see the whole picture.

10. Able to follow and execute instructions.

11. Able to work alone and independently (within the scope of assigned duties).

12. Able to work well with diverse populations.

13. Sensitive to verbal and non-verbal communication.

14. Ability to recognize boundaries and limitations of duties and not act independently of those functions.

15. Flexible and able to handle other job tasks not listed above.

16. Create a family friendly environment for employees, staff and guests.

Policy Statement: Brian Head Resort's policies and procedures do not constitute a contract of employment, and

violation of Company policies, procedures or rules may result in termination. All employment at Brian Head Resort is "at

will", meaning the employee or the company can terminate employment at any time with or without cause. This

company has zero tolerance policy towards illegal activities such as sexual harassment and use of illegal drugs or alcohol

on duty.

Break Policy for Ticket Sales Agents

One 15 Minute break, if time is available, between 10:00-11:00

One 30 Minute Lunch, if time is available, between 11:00-2:00

One 15 Minute break, if time is available, between 2:00-5:00

All breaks are subject to Supervisors discretion depending on business levels.

No breaks will be taken without a Supervisor releasing you from your duties.

No breaks will be longer than the above time.

If employee does not return at the end of their time limit then a written warning will be given (per 3 strike policy)

All employees must check back in with Supervisor upon returning from their break.

If a full 15 minute break or 30 minute lunch was not given, due to business levels, employee may take multiple shorter breaks

depending on individual circumstances. Given at Supervisors discretion.

In the event that there is down time employee may clock out and take a ride break and return at time specified by Supervisor.

30 Minute lunch break will be deducted automatically from employees pay.

In the event a 30 minute lunch was not taken, employee must document "No Lunch" on their time card and be initialed

by Supervisor.
